N18 Crusheen to Gort Dual Carriageway Project
We have been contracted to supply Stone Products for use in the Construction of N18 Crusheen to Gort Dual Carriageway.This project is due for completion by 2012.
Music Centre- University of Limerick
Whelan’s Precast acquired the contract from Michael McNamara & Co for the supply and installation of precast concrete products for the new Music Centre at University Limerick. This prestigious project with one of Irelands leading building contractors is currently under construction. We are working together with our client to supply the highest quality precast products at the desired delivery times to ensure that the project is completed successfully.
N18 Ennis By Pass Project, Co. Clare
The N18 Ennis By Pass comprises of 16 km of dual carriageway and 5 km of single carriageway.The Whelan Group is the main supplier of Readymix Concrete (60,000 m3), which includes 14 bridge structures (1,250m3 deck pour completed in under 12 hours), Tarmacadam (250,000 Tonnes) and Aggregates (1,000,000 Tonnes) to this project.
Castlerea Prison Project, Co. Roscommon
Work on the provision of a new purpose built accommodation for remand prisoners is currently underway at Castlerea Prison and is scheduled for completion early next year. The Whelan Group are the main suppliers of Readymix Concrete (25,000 m3), Concrete Blocks, Precast Flooring and Tarmacadam.
Gort Road Retail Park, County Clare
Development is underway on the construction of a new retail park on the Gort Road, Ennis, Co. Clare. The Whelan Group are supplying all concrete products for this development.
Castletroy Park Hotel Development, Co. Limerick
This project consisted of the supply and placement of 22,000 m2 of Precast Flooring and Precast Stair Units.
OPW Cork Offices, Co. Cork
This project is currently under construction in Blackpool, Cork. The Whelan Group is supplying the development's requirements for readymix concrete (12,000 m3) and precast.
Cliffs of Moher, Co. Clare
The Whelan Group were the main suppliers of Readymix concrete to this under ground structure. This involved (8,000 m3) of concrete waterproofing. Precast Flooring, Tarmacadam and Aggregate were also supplied to this project.
